UK Government advice via Business Link
Business Link: "The Plastic Materials and Articles in Contact with Food (England) Regulations 2009 (as read with Commission Directive 2002/72/EC as amended) allow bisphenol-A to be used in plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, so long as no more than 0.6 milligrams per kilogram migrates into the food."
