The Burlington Free Press | Burlington, Vermont: "The Vermont bill proposes to ban the manufacture, sale or distribution of these items if they contain BPA:
• Reusable food and beverage containers, except large water-cooler jugs, by July 1, 2012.
• Bottled infant formula and plastic baby containers, by July 1, 2012.
• Canned infant formula, by July 1, 2014. The date was extended out of concerns that alternatives might not be readily available before then."
